BONDS Bralette & Pants | ZARA Jacket | FRENCH CONNECTION Hat | 8 OTHER REASONS Jewels

I’m a huge fan of comfortable, relaxed separates. These track pants are exactly this, but they are also an amazing fit. It’s their slim fit that makes it possible to style them in a more dressy way, like I’ve done here with this blazer and heels.

I do love a straw hat. The Panama and Fedora silhouettes are especially flattering. I already have a pale straw Panama hat, so I was over the moon when I saw this black one. I love the textured element it brings to your outfit. If you tend to wear a lot of black, white and solid colours like me, having a bit of texture is ideal as it creates interest and depth, which is sometimes nice.

I actually realised only recently that my go-to items do tend to be relaxed separates. I also love super tailored separates, but it’s the separates with a slightly more deconstructed tailoring, that I tend to gravitate towards on a day-to-day basis.
